These self watering pots are FANTASTIC!!!!
Ive watered twice, and both times about 10 seconds worth of water, maybe a 1/3rd of water chamber needed filling. The transplants mostly looking good, the store bought cherry tomatoes are going nuts with growth, even starting to flower!!!
These pots just may be the greatest outdoor system yet,so far exceeding my wildest hopes.THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

We had a freak snow so moved plants into hoophouse.it stays 3-5 degrees warmer at night. But during the day its 25 degree's hotter. So the plants love 85 as opposed to 60,and started to take off on a growth spurt.Decided to just leave them indoors until the summer temps get into the 80's reliably. They get less sun,but the extra heat seems to be a real winner.

Plants in self watering buckets, have 20 of these. They are beyond awesome. They waste zero water, and keeps plants watered for many days minimum. Here is how to make them.To fertilize just drop a little miracle grow or whatever into the watering pipe.
Yes,still getting tomatoes.Have some ripening in house,LOTS of sweet 1 million cherry toms slowly ripening on the vine.Getting into 44-48F at night and high 60's to low 70's in days.Plants starting to slowly die back.
Trimmed a bit, toms, and bottom pic cup on front right has 2 cuttings in water...All of these are cuttings from outdoor plants and some from the aquaponics bed planted in dirt today...
The lights, top is cfl grow light, bottom is soft white LED with 91% color rendering, should have light needs covered
Here they are, note water in tray I will keep there, and the front right is 2 cuttings just stuck in water in cup, will see if they root, they sure perked up anyhow, they were from the trimming I did. They all will transplant a lot better when I trimmed at least a third off so they can concentrate on root establishment in new home...
