Back from the doc, I've got hammer toes - plural. 3 of them on my right foot (I didn't take off my left sock, because I know I have more over there) The other 2 toes have always looked that way, so I guess it's just my feet, and the one I went to see him about was just a late bloomer - I'm blaming the toe, not the fact that I'm getting older.
Since they aren't bothering me, we will do nothing. In the event they start to bother me (and they might not, since the other two have been that way for 50+ years) then he'll straighten them (it's a surgery, so I'm good with waiting)
He also doesn't think it had anything to do with my hip. If they hurt, I'd walk differently and then maybe, but it doesn't hurt, so no ... nothing to do with the hip.
