So far I have 4 4' x 8' beds in anf that row can take one ore bed. From alley to slope I can put in 5 of the beds. Started 3' from alley lot line. Good space to walk between. This is all I can do at thid time till they move the shed out of the middle. They have no money to move the shed I was told. I thought it would be moved this year. I can not put up a shed till they do move it as they woud not be able to get it moved. I can not get moved in here till I do have a shed for things. WAy it stands.
My plan was on north end to have a 2 foot wide frame along the fence. As long 32 feet. Than be Green house between that row and the then beds I have. I am allowing 3 foot wide paths. Piles of dirt with dead grass in . To save room the 4 x 8 beds will get to get 16 long. There is to be a water tap for my garden back there. I do not know where she told them to put it but seems towards the north end. More where the beds are. Being two pipes under the walk I would say. Does not matter as have to run a hose any way. Rest of beds be south of ones I have. The dirt in piled up there. Between beds and shed. The area is a big mess at this time. South side is where i want a shed. I have to pay for it. If I have it put up there is not way for their shed to be moved out. She told be put the shed behind their garage. That back to the south line. I told her not room and get their shed by. The 100 feet runs along the alley. What I did not figyure in is I have to have shed 3 feet in from theirs to work on it and snow fall. Their garage is slantes the other way. The back of garage is narrower that what my shed length would be. I want the shed at the back of place along behind theirs. The south side is shades by thier sheds and the north for greenhouse where it would get sun. I can not switch sides.
Son has a suggested I get a storage containter for the shed. Fill it and have it moved up here. Like a 20' foot one.
The water tap for garden was put in Sat and when I went out the back door he told me where it was. I said there was going to be a fence between it and the garden area. He had not heard of the fence. I would not be able to get to the tap. Sunday my son came over and told him the tap was on the lawn area and not the garden. Plumber told me he put where DIL said too. It was where I would not use it. Son called her and told her and plumber moved it last night. He recommnted to the next fence post. It will not get ran over. I would rather had it center on lot but that is better to be out of the way. Because still more work out there for the fence. Fence goes acorss the lot. I would rather had at back on lot but she has plans. I am surprised she had it done. That tin shed has to be moved off. Anyway the lawn watering system is in. He tested it and had set it. So the plumber is done. Odd squad will put the fence and and sod lawn area. So I guess I can fill the flowerbeds and get ready to plant in the spring.
Garden area is another things. Piles of dirt and sod. I told me son I was goig to take those cement blocks that is in the pile and put along alley under the invisable fence. They drove through it again. That may help stop that They will be brings in pallets of sod. Roght now trying to rain. I was out and pulled in my hose. The short hose from tap to bed will reach okay. I need clean the tap and pull that short hose to the garden . Get out of the way. When will be able to use the garden area is anyone guess. I have room for the fifth 4 x 8 bed and the 2' one along the north side fence. Leave room for green housse there and I think a could 6 x 4 beds between that and the cross fence. I want to make a couple deep beds for like for potatoes.
Rainy today, so Odd Squad did not show up here. Could be some place else. My back porch is muddy from yesterday. May as well not try to clean till they get sod in. They will be doing more bobcat work on the lawn is my guess. Has to be lower than the cement work to lay it.
DIL was not around when boys talked that day at lunch at the resturant as she had gone to Denver with her mom. Prices are down and at least with the property taxes.
These garden could even be put on hill side if that is what you have. Of coudr do narror and some digging, Easier to make covers for them in the spring. Walls of water are expensive and plastic is not cheap. Few stakes will hold it up. Old sheet or blankets work too.

The Miterleader (sp) gardens can be done on hill sides and even rock ground. Raised beds really are what they are. And put on covers.
I get to use this tin shed in the back yard. DIL hada new doors put on her shed and painted the shed. This tin building had not floor and just bracing at bottom to reinforce it for moving here. It now has a steel floor and I did not see how they did that. Still not fasatened to it but is under it. Went in last week. Suppose to move it over to corner on the lot. It is 16 x 20. It is like 9 1/2 ft tall. Came I presume from oil/gas stuff. Then I now have two shipping cntainters in my yard down home to pack and get moved up here. No will not be in my yard but set at the shop/RV storage and I will have them to store in. I have not seen the price on them and will cost to have moved up here 80 miles. I had said okay to containers. ONLY thing is I can not open them I guess. I have not seen. I told them I had to get the heat on the house so pipes do not freeze and son tells me they are on. I asked what he set them at. Did not set they are on. I told him Tom turned off the little heater and I had the big heater way last summer. So they are set on off yet. I think maybe the big heater comes on at low temp if gets down there but not sure. Pilots are on okay. Need set to come on. We left the pilots on.
I am really stressed out over this whole mess. There are stuff down there I need. Son said the tin shed and the 2 containers should do me for storage. Containers are 8 x 20. Shop is about half mile from me.
Guess I have to go down Thursday on bus and DIL can come in a few days and get me. Least she said she would. Got to get that heat on.
