I doubt I will do much gardening this coming year, but for those of us with short or peculiar growing seasons you might take a look at Territorial Seed Company. i am not a generally a fan of hybrid seed, but practicality does rear its head sometimes. Some of their seed has very short grow times.
The weather cycle (sorry Al Gore, but you're an idiot)we are in now has resulted in shorter growing seasons with every passing year. I don't think I even have the luxury of 70 days anymore with the exception of cold weather things like peas. It seems sensible to plant seeds with flesh-that is how it happens naturally for the most part. Won't work here as mold sets in quickly. I wanted to put a water heater barrel stove in the green house, but that is not going to happen. Wicked cold snaps in spring are tough also. Hope you like the catalog Mommajeane
I have their catalog as they sent to me last year. Bunch of cats came early. Before end of years. Guess I have not seen anything special in it but higher prices. Years back when I lived at 8000 ft I got seed from a place in S Dak . I still had to limit the days where I was. Here it will be more so. Around 6000 here. I was at under 5000 ft.
