well we've learned how to grow a garden without dirt in a small space with hydroponics, so what does one grow as a feed for rabbits
Sprouts, giant zucchinis, apples, pears, grass. Not much in the veggie fruit dept thats rabbits dont like.Guess would be grow some crops that store well, taters, apple, zuchs all store pretty well. Not sure what would be good hydro wise, lettuces are fast growers but would still need a bit of space to grow enough?
We got what bonnie has,all the veggie trim from the market made at least 80% of our feed, and a little bit of alfalfa pellets.

Hummmm I use mostly alfalfa and rabbit pellets. guess I was thinking along the lines of protein, somebody told me once turnips were good for rabbit feed, yep our 1/2 doz. hens eat more lettuce then we do. LOL
