I think it sounds like a super idea, would love to see some of our stuff appear in print.
It was always my hope the cookbook would help a young cook who has never known cooking to be able to make a couple signature dishes like a pro.thought the camera angle would be so helpful because for me,I cant follow a written recipe well,I need to see where Im supposed to be at.
So iffn it can be done please use anything Ive ever printed /posted on the subject.
That is one of the easiest things to do! Trust me it's super simple. It's easier if you boil the apples and squish them first, and then put them in the crock on low to get the extra water out.
The recipes I've read says to cut them up and add a cup of hot water to the crock and to cook them on low up to 8 hrs. This is what I'm gonna try. I'll be adding cinnamon, nutmeg and a splash of vanilla.
Hot homemade bread, butter, and hot applesauce plopped on top. That was the first "dessert" I ever remember as a kid. There was an ancient Greening apple tree on the farm and it made the best applesauce ever.
