My daughter has gotten custody, and is trying to adopt her husband's niece. The Girl's mother is a meth addict, and the state put her in foster care. In her eight years, the girl was never made to eat real food, and has survived off potato chips, hot dogs, and mac-n-cheese (when she could get her mother to make it). She has also been diagnosed as bipolar, and is on medication for it. She is seeing a doctor. She needs a lot of prayer.
But on top of her, so does my wife and I. Both of us have a hard time dealing with her, as she will lie to get the other girls in trouble. I have seen her hit herself hard enough to leave a mark, and tell people the other ones hit her. She has threatened to go get a knife, and stab the other girls, and I am afraid that one day she might.
