Dishwashing detergent and soda and maybe some bleach in hot water .
I have a new set of dishes up there in top and they need to be washed too. I want to pack in a box when I do it and set them on the shelves I need to build in the storage shed. Lots of things here need done. The other half of that set of dishes is in the bed room under the dresser. Thrift store few cents a piece and yard sales. Got to be worth more then I paid. Store years back was giving some of the piece away and lot lit in the thrift here.
Well, I got the outside of them (and the doors) cleaned and shined. Our cabinets don't go clear to the ceiling. The tops of those cabinets were filthy and had a greasy film. Of course, I got a bunch of junk, old bottles, baskets, greenery, and "do-dats" sittin up there for decoration. What dust collectors! So I took all that down and washed it. I used laundry detergent and hot water. Scrubbed, scrubbed.
I did get me some stuff called "Orange Glo". After I scrubbed, I wiped this stuff on and it really shined them up. Takes grease off to. Smells good. Now I need to sort out the insides and clean our the drawers. At least I got a start on it.
I wonder if the baking soda would be good on countertops, too? I bet it would.
My housecleaning sure has been lacking. But I did get the Kitchen all deep cleaned. Sorted out all the drawers and rearranged things. Now if I can just find the stuff I rearranged! Now for the rest of the house......that's a different story. LOL!
