OK,here's the deal.
I found a good mushroom soup recipe.You add all the ingredients,then run it thru a blender then cook it.
Im going to take all the ingredients and dehydrate and powder then.I will leave little mushroom chunks like Campbells does.
For the chicken broth will add appropriate amt. of chicken bullion in a separate pack.For the milk I will add a separate pack powdered milk as they dont store as long and if they deteriorate it wont ruin the base.
Then make packets of dehydrated INSTANT mushroom soup! Just add water and heat!
It will be a while before I get to this,but thats the plan.
Will be able to make up a large amt. of soup and store in a minimum of space and it will be good for years!
I'm picturing maybe a 100 quarts worth of soup in maybe 10 lbs powder,something like like?
Are you kiddin'? MY pantry will love it, too!!! And today, I'm gonna TRY to make some beef stew/soup (without potatoes) and can it. When we want some in a hurry, voila! just peel potatoes and add; cook till taters are done.
