Hubby and I spend the week-end up at our soon to be retirement house. Hubby spent Fri and Sat, raking leaves, grinding them and and adding them to the compost pile. Sunday morning I woke up early to a winter wonderland. Everything was coated with a couple inches of snow. It was so beautiful, so clean and white, almost got me into the Christmas spirit. Decided to spend the day baking while hubby watched the games on t.v. Homemade bread raising, a apple pie, and meat pasties. We are so looking forward to the time we can be here full time not just every other week end. Hubby thought he would work until he was 62 but now he is realizing that the 59 1/2 age sounds so much better (he can draw his 401 at that age, if there is anything left after all the drops in the market). I think that is why I love forums like this, I have found ways to cut back on things, increased in other areas that we were not quite as prepared for as we thought. I look so forward to coming on online everyday to see what everyone is up to.
