They have a free download of some software which is awesome. Takes about an hour for dial-up, for the basic download, and then once you have that you can pick commentaries, dictionaries, books, encyclopedia's, some of these includes a cost, but not much, but there are a bunch of good ones that are free.
Also if it is no problem for a newbie to comment back to kim's post. It is truly a good thing to read through the Bible, but for those who may be new to the undertaking:
We,...humans tend to come to reading the Bible like it was a novel, a biography, or encyclopedia of some kind, so when we get to places like Numbers, Leviticus or even the first 9 chapters of I Chron. (God Bless the person who can go through all those "begats" and not yawn) we may get bummed out about it, don't. Go ahead and skip over it, because the Bible isn't composed the way regular books are. There's a reason for 4 Gospels instead of one, Numbers, all those begats etc.... All that stuff is more in the area of study instead of reading. So don't get bummed out if you skip over it when you're reading through the Bible. You will more than make up for it when you do some studies. BTW Numbers is a treasure trove of rich study, so you'll cover it just fine.
I never have used e-sword. Time for this old dog to learn some new trick! I used to use "blue letter bible", but the last time I tried, it was gone and that was a couple of months ago. I have not tried since.
